This jug in archaic maiolica is a Padua production of the fourteenth century. It presents a pear-shaped body with an expanded foot and flat base, a wide strap handle, and a trilobed mouth. The body is divided into horizontal bands containing meander-like lines alternating with broken sinuous lines, repeated vertically at the sides of the handle. On the neck runs a meander braid. The decoration uses the colours green and purple. The dimensions are: height twenty-four centimetres and maximum diameter sixteen centimetres. The artefact has been restored with integration of the form.
