This plate in ceramic painted on slip and under glaze, a Padua production between the end of the eighteenth and the beginning of the nineteenth century, presents a shallow and wide well with a narrow shaped rim. At the centre appears an inscription on four lines, mutilated due to the fragmentary state, above which a small figure of a traveller is depicted: a bearded character with hat and long cloak advancing while leaning on a staff. The rim is decorated with lattice-like segments painted in blue, as is the entire ornament. The dimensions of the fragment are eight by eleven centimetres.
